THE PROCESS
The process involves creating a high-contrast black and white image from a carefully selected photograph (provided by the client), which is then digitally stripped back and cleaned up, allowing for a hand-cut stencil to be meticulously crafted at scale from your unique print.
Blister-inducing stuff, but this is where the magic happens.
The application of paint (I can recommend colour options) is sprayed through the stencil onto cold-pressed watercolour paper with deckled edging. This spraying technique encourages a fluidity of movement and invites subtle imperfections that help give texture and life to the portrait.
All the materials I use are of the highest quality, ensuring that your artwork will last a lifetime.
